Welcome to the Michelle Seguin MD newsletter. I’m Dr. Michelle, and I’m so glad you’re here! Today, I’ll be introducing the new weekly newsletter framework, and I think you’ll love it!
Hello friends,
I have some exciting news to share! After months of feeling like my newsletters have been, well, a little inconsistent (let’s call it life getting in the way), I’ve decided it’s time for a change. A good one. A change that will hopefully bring a bit more rhythm and consistency—not just for me, but for you, too.
Establishing a dedicated writing practice is a promise I made to myself during my time in Italy last month. Between quiet moments of journaling and exploring the Tuscan countryside, I realized that more than anything, I want to show up in a way that feels meaningful, intentional, and reliable. I started to imagine a framework for this space—something that flows like the seasons themselves: natural, steady, and filled with stories, insights, and recipes to inspire a slower, more mindful way of living.
Moving forward, I want our conversations to feel like sitting down with a trusted friend—whether you’re sipping your morning coffee, putting the garden to bed, or unwinding after a busy day. This newsletter is my way of inviting you to pause, take a breath, and share a moment of reflection, creativity, and wellness together.
I’m so glad you’re here with me for this new chapter. Let’s dive into this next season together.
With gratitude,
Dr. Michelle
The Big News: A New Weekly Newsletter Framework!
For those of you who’ve been following along for a while, you know my passion for seasonal living, health, cooking, gardening, and the connection between nature and wellness runs deep. I’ve loved sharing little bits and pieces with you, but I’ve realized I want to offer more—more regularity, more depth, and more inspiration that fits into your week like that warm conversation over coffee.
So, starting now, I’ll be writing to you every week. And not just randomly, but with a framework that keeps things fresh, engaging, and aligned with the natural flow of the seasons.
Here’s what you can expect from me moving forward:
Week 1: Living Well with the Seasons
This is where I’ll be sharing personal anecdotes and reflections on seasonal living. Think of this as the “catching up with an old friend” part of the newsletter. I’ll talk about how I’m finding balance in my own life, what the seasons are teaching me, and how small health practices can help us all stay grounded. Whether it’s finding calm in the winter months or staying energized during the summer heat, I want to explore what it means to live in sync with the seasons.
Week 2: Science & Nature: What’s New
The self-proclaimed nerd in me couldn’t resist—this is for the research lovers out there. I’m calling this my “journal club,” but don’t worry—it won’t be too formal. Every second week, I’ll be breaking down the latest scientific research on topics like nature, health, and food as medicine. My goal? To make the science approachable and actionable, giving you real takeaways for your health. Whether it’s a new study on the benefits of olive oil or how time in nature affects our mental health, I’ll distill the research into bite-sized pieces you can apply in your own life.
Week 3: From Garden to Table
This is where the dirt meets the dinner table (literally!). I’ll share what’s happening in my garden, what seasonal produce is shining right now, and how I’m using it in the kitchen. You’ll get recipes, tips for growing your own herbs or veggies, and inspiration for incorporating more fresh, seasonal food into your meals. Even if you don’t have a garden, this column will give you ideas for shopping seasonally and cooking with the freshest ingredients.
Week 4: A Piece of My Mind
This column is more of a lifestyle catch-all, where I’ll share some of my favorite things of the moment—whether it’s a new podcast I’m loving, a book I can’t put down, or a product that’s making life in the kitchen (or garden) easier. I always love hearing about what’s inspiring other people, so I thought it’d be fun to pass along the things that are inspiring me in real time.
Why This New Framework?
Honestly, I felt like it was time to create more structure—not just for myself, but for all of you, too. There’s so much I want to share, and I think having this weekly rhythm will help create a space where we can explore a variety of topics without feeling rushed or scattered.
My goal is to bring you a mix of personal stories, research-backed insights, practical tips, and inspiration that all tie back to seasonal living and holistic health. Whether you’re here for the science, the gardening tips, the recipes, or just a good read, I hope you’ll find something valuable in each edition.
What I Need from You:
As always, this space is as much about you as it is about me. I’d love to hear from you:
- Are there any topics you’re itching to dive into?
- Any health or kitchen dilemmas you need support with?
- What are you cooking, growing, or listening to lately?

I can’t wait to share this new journey with you. I believe that living well isn’t about perfection, but about embracing the seasons—both in nature and in our own lives—with curiosity, intention, and a little bit of joy.
Here’s to more consistent connection and a more vibrant, seasonal way of living!
With love and care,
Dr. Michelle
